Looks like the snow gods have been kind and delivered some Autumn joy to those lucky folks in Colorado. The below announcement has been made on the Arahapoe Basin website.

Arapahoe Basin will OPEN for the 2014-15 season on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2014. The Black Mountain Express lift will open at 9:00 am with access to the intermediate High Noon run. Early season conditions exist and there is NO BEGINNER SKIING.
